Savvy’s First Easter

Stuck on the couch..

For Savvy’s first Easter I bought her an oh-so-cute dress with butterflies on it and against advice read and heard all the time, put it on her in the morning instead of changing her before we left. Thanks to a big bib at breakfast it stayed clean (I don’t count a little drool) even through her new dancing moves (Videos: Dancing 1 and Dancing 2). We even had some playtime on floor where I’m sure she collected some dog hair but no stains..

We went to Aunt Christine and Uncle Nate’s house for an egg hunt and dinner where Savvy got to play in the grass with Daddy and Charlie (their dog). The main attraction was Daddy’s sunglasses..

We forgot to get pictures with Savvy and her eggs so I made some grass and baskets for her at home and gave her some more eggs to play with.. We tried to convince her that the eggs were the fun part – even put cereal in them to shake! – however the baskets and grass were apparently better tasting..
