Melanie has found her mate in our daughter. Wherever Savannah goes you can bet Melanie is right behind and Savannah loves it. I have a feeling Melanie will sleep in Savannah's room at some point.

Bubble Bath!
In an effort to keep Savannah up until bedtime I added bubbles to her bath. She was exhausted but I feared if she went to sleep to early she’s be up super early too. She LOVED them! I hid toys in the the bubbles for her to find, she danced her hands around in them to see the movement and ended up trying to eat the bubbles..

I’m not sure how it happened but at the end of her bath her bangs were sticking straight out – it was hilarious!

Home from school
Our new routine when leaving school seems to be Sav receives her report card from her teacher then goes to to door to (not so patiently) wait for me. Normally I end up with the paper to carry home but On Tuesday she wouldn't give it up.
So we headed out of school and I realized not only was she holding the paper but she wasn't holding my finger like she always does. She was just trotting along happy as can be down the sidewalk. Every few minutes she would stop, hold the paper in both hands and "read" it aloud - so funny!

Baby Number 2–First Pictures!
On Friday we had our first ultrasound for the new baby and they gave us a bunch of still prints to take home. It is much easier to see the video on the screen while in the room but here they are!
In the third picture, the bottom half is the heartbeat – 140 bpm :)
